As a benevolent artist not only in Bengal but also in India,Gopal Sanyal devoted his life in sketching human forms depicting.His subject's affection with nature and other living beings.His preferred depicting humanity more than spirituality through his works. Most of his body of works are reflections of dying humans struggling with strength and vigor against the forces of an adverse social system.
